Vulnerability is not about winning or losing, it’s having the courage to show up when you can’t control the outcome…..How can you be loved if you don’t allow yourself to be seen. — Brene Brown

Lately I have been dedicating myself to noticing my tendency to avoid things when they get…

hard.

uncomfortable.

and create a sh*t ton of anxiety.

Things where I don’t know the answers, don’t know what to do, or simply just don’t believe in myself.

Yesterday, I found myself in a vulnerable position and wanting to do what I know to do: run away. avoid. pretend it doesn’t bother me… but that’s simply not working for me anymore. It’s not working for the life I desire to live and the woman I know myself to be.

Can you relate?

Vulnerability is hard because we decide to expose ourselves to the world and open ourselves up to the things we fear: rejection, failure, confirming fears of not being enough, of being a fraud, being found out…

And we also open ourselves up to something beautiful, which is evolving. Expanding into the woman you have always been meant to be. Freedom comes with vulnerability because you decide to finally shed a light on the things that hold so much control over you and simply be okay with them.

You lean into the storm, the chaos, the pressure and overwhelm and as you push through, as you choose you, choose to face this…you come out on the other side feeling light, free, and really freaking proud of who you are.

There is a light through the storm, there IS another side…

Your highest self, your truest self, the woman you know within you, she’s waiting for you, and her and is guiding you through the storm alongside the incredible force that is the Universe herself…

You are living magic. You are the air you need.

It will be okay.

It’s safe to step into the fears, it’s safe to face them,

it’s safe to allow yourself to believe in you and your dreams.

To believe that you are enough.

To know that even if you fall, you will be caught and find your feet again.

It’s safe.

And simply, you to know this.

It’s safe to experience your life and all facets of it — the good, the scary, and everything in between.

It is safe to become who you’ve always dreamed of.

Massive love. Let me know what you think ❤

xoxo love,

Blake
